The CIA has been creating, arming, and funding terrorists for a very long time. They were responsible for al Qaeda, and now they’re in part responsible for ISIS. This isn’t new information, though many people are completely unaware of these operations because mainstream media doesn’t report on these topics, not being in the U.S. government’s best interests to do so. We’ve written about it countless times — here, here, here and here are a few examples out of many.
What is new is that Trump has decided to end a covert CIA program that funded rebels in Syria, and mainstream media actually covered the story. The program was designed to aid anti-Assad rebels by arming them and paying them monthly salaries.
Not only did Trump stop this program, but the Washington Post actually reported on the story. Though the mainstream media outlet did push the anti-Russia/Trump narrative, suggesting that Trump’s decision was motivated by his desire to work with Russia, this is still a step in the right direction.
Trump Ends Covert CIA Program That Funded Syrian Rebels The U.S. has been funding the Syrian war for quite some time, so it’s clear that they have a vested interest. U.S. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard even proposed a bill recently in an effort to put an end to this government corruption, titled the “Stop Arming Terrorists Act,” which only received an alarming 13 supporters.
Gabbard publicly discussed the U.S.’s interests in the Syrian war (as the U.S. sells arms to ISIS and other terrorist groups), offering a compelling call to action in the process:
I return to Washington, DC with even greater resolve to end our illegal war to overthrow the Syrian government. I call upon Congress and the new Administration to answer the pleas of the Syrian people immediately and support the Stop Arming Terrorists Act. We must stop directly and indirectly supporting terrorists—directly by providing weapons, training and logistical support to rebel groups affiliated with al-Qaeda and ISIS; and indirectly through Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, and Turkey, who, in turn, support these terrorist groups. We must end our war to overthrow the Syrian government and focus our attention on defeating al-Qaeda and ISIS.

Between all the evil things he has done allready he's doing one thing that ain't wrong. Must I clap my hands? No way. It's also known that Iraq got chemical weapons from the U.S.A to use them against Iran end 70's, early 80's. Later the U.S. Said to Saddam Hussain: You've got chemical weapons (but Saddam allready used everything, there was nothing left) and they started the second war against Iraq. Fisrt Bush jr. said Iraq was behind 9-11, and they said to the whole western world: come fight with us. Later when we learned that Al Qaeda was responsible for 9-11, there was the lie about the chemical weapons, and lot of EU countries followed Bush to the war.
Where's a republican government, there always will be war with the us. It's very good to benefit the weapons industries, trying the newest weapons and so on. Lot's of places in the middle east are polluted with rests of atomic loaded bullets. Those spots are radioactive. The US had no reason to attack Lybia, Syria, Afghanistan or Iraq. If they hadn't done all these fighting the twintowers would possible still have been there.

what is an "Atomic-loaded" Bullet? BTW,you are really in dire need to do some research!
HexagonKeySet: What a fascinating post ... I've not seen anyone apparently so keen to blame Trump for things that the USA did while Bush was president.
It takes to slow down a vast thundering war machine, let alone bring it to a stop.
You're whining because he's managed to stop funding for Syrian Terrorists ?
No, I don;t expect you to clap your hands ... I expect someone would have to take time to teach you how to do that!
I assume that you are refering to the answer from Pekaatje? Yeah his hatred can be tasted and he is talking about things that Trump had nothing to do with. It amazes me how the Trump haters will not give him credit for anything.
Hopefully Donald has countered Al Qaeda white hermit exercise e.g. Earlier this week, the Russian Ministry of Defense warned that the so-called White Helmets had delivered a large shipment of toxic substances to local armed militant groups that have been plotting to stage a chemical attack in the Syrian province of Idlib.
and therefore hopefully the US Navy's Los Angeles-class submarine USS Newport News armed with Tomahawk cruise missiles that entered the port of Gibraltar crew will just be getting themselves a suntan

Rob this does not sound good does it. I am not surprised about chemical warfare being used it is typical. My heart goes out to the 3 million people existing there.............. Sure hope that the US can interfere and help the people ............
Further proof that Trump is a traitor to America. Trump aligns more with Russia than with the USA. The Syrian rebels are fighting to overthrow Assad. They are fighting for their homeland against a tyrannical dictator who is as big a bully as his father, Hafez al Assad. The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. The Syrian rebels are not ISIS or terrorists they are fighting to free their country from a brutal dictator. Assad is allied with Russia so Trumps actions are aiding a foreign, unfriendly country. BTW, Assad is a member of the Ba'ath party and was close friends with Saddam Hussein, another Ba'ath party member.

no matter which way Trump moved on this you would find fault with it . You have no idea , the Assad's and the Hussein's hated each others guts . If you knew just one bit you talk of you would know that Assad was a Bush supporter during the first gulf war and had bitter personal enmity toward Hussein .

Yes epirb you are right, Mr. Trump can't win.....ever............. Have not seen anyone else trying to do something?. We should just let it all happen? What a world we live in and hate is everywhere Jenny
Jenny it is the US that backs the users of the chemicals, its not the Russians and its not Assad. It is Saudi Arabia, America and Israel that supporting the Al Qaeda white hermit that have been using chemicals in an attempt to discredit Russia and the democratically elected Syrian government.
