Anybody practise it? If yes, for how long and how often? Care to share the results, if any?

Yes, but not regularly.

I do it with tai chi normally

Why not regularly? Are you discontent with the results? Or you don't have any and it's only a fashion thing for you?

Fashion thing? laugh Nope

In the summer I tend to spend time outdoors as much as possible. It is in the winter I tend to do that type of exercise.

For the most I do it at home or in the gym, 10-12 min before breakfast, but during the holiday I went to the nearest forest a few times and did it there, quite different experience, must say. So it sounds strange for me that you choose to do it at home, while you have the opportunity to do it on plain air.

People stare, sure, but so what?

I usually have the dogs with me when I'm out in the summer. Believe me, it's more relaxing to not do it with them around than to do it.

You don't take them out in winter? Well... ours will allow to do anything after an 11 km round in the forest, that includes chasing balls and pins, but all dogs are different, of course.

Nonetheless, have you noticed any results after practising Tai Chi?

Of course I take them out in winter. Dogs need to get walked in all weathers. But one tends to be outdoors more in summer.

Yes, my energy levels improve, my head is calmer and I just feel better and more balanced overall.

I have approximately the same effect, was wondering whether the improvement was real or it's placebo.

I'm teaching him the basics like Sit at the moment. Qigong comes later.
My other dog loves when I do any type of meditation, she really gets into the relaxed mood of it.

Young rescue mutt.
Possibly lived alone in an isolated country setting with little human or canine interaction, little exercise, and no training.
Fast forward to living in a city with traffic, humans, dogs, cats, you name it.. sensory overload.
He's doing well. Still a little madhead though laugh

Oh blimey, is he lucky to have crossed paths with you, or what? Not many people can pick and handle the duffers from the pound.

I came across a right charlie once who had been bounced around from homes to pounds, but I couldn't take him with a small child and another big rescue dog at home.

I've had other duffers, but health wise, rather than bonkers. Bonkers takes a lot of time and space.

Well done, Molly. tip hat hug
