Precise meaning of "true Love" (4)

Not that I am fond of speaking ill of any CS members, but I want to rather be Socrates to seek the truth in the society of dating field by exemplifying the untruth.

I have been lurking these dating sites quite for a while and it was very amusing experience to see all the ladies of the world and had a few contacts including near final collision incidence. But I decided not to proceed any further for my soundness of retirement life at the last minute.

Based on my observation of the profiles which appear to be almost same pattern regardless of geographical region, there are a few common things used by most female members.

In the order of frequencies, I can assume that ‘travel’, ‘looking for true love’, ‘like nature’, ‘hiking’, ‘bicycle’ , ‘ to learn the different culture’, ‘going to concert’, ‘walking the beach with hand in hand’, ‘watch movies’, etc. Cooking is rarely mentioned.

I was so impressed and stunned to learn that most of women of the world has exactly same hobbies as mine. Really?

Even though I am definitely not an eccentric moron, but as a non drinker, non smoker of any kind whatsoever, non gambler, no eyes fixed to the TV screen to watch sports ( I cut the cable long years ago), I have only a few choices to kill my unlimited time after retirement and death of my spouse. However, not only hiking, wandering in the middle of nowhere, cycling, off-road are my favorite choices but also I never get tired of them. Fortunately, I don’t rely on SSA pension for my living, I do not spare money for my leisure. I have fairly high price equipment and 4x4’s and I ended up even moving to the highlighted area of those activities.

I got rid of all the photos and memorabilia after the death of my wife and store no pictures on the phone or computer because Microsoft and Apple try to sell their apps all the time. I carry Iphone only to make a 911 call or other emergency. No social medias or those kinds. So I use free photo sharing website to keep all my pictures which are mostly landscape taken while I was hiking or off roading. I hate take my own pictures and selfie is the most repugnant thing to me.

So I invited all the ladies who I was really interested to see all my photos which is over 2,000 and organized by events chronologically. Anyone could figure out easily what I do and how I live. I was excited to show all the beautiful nature and the activities which they also said as their favorite ones.
We share the same interest.

To my surprise!
I have very few pictures of myself and my belongings including house and cars, less than 30 out of over 2,000. The only, literally only ( some people hate the word ‘literally’ but….) photos were viewed are the ones which shows my house and cars as a profile pictures of the album. All others which shows the nature, hiking,etc, never viewed. ABSOLUTELY ZERO VIEW.

Are they really interested in what they described or just saying those to make themselves look like as Jane Goodall?. Or ‘true love’ means nice house and nice car?

It seems ‘true love’ after certain age to be an illusion. I don’t blame or stigmatize anyone. Life is hard. After all those years of hard life after divorce, raising kids or whatever, we all realize that a certain thing has to be preceded as the first priority before anything else.

As a matter of fact, I owe these dating sites including CS in a great degree to come to the proper decision for my life after I became a widower. Thanks to CS.
Now I am very comfortable to live by myself for the rest of life as a bachelor and life is always adventure and fun. I began to truly enjoy my life at last.
