I don't see it as harshly as being disgraceful....I think she was upset to be accused of cheating when she has always played a very straight game....maybe her outburst should have been a bit calmer but when your such a professional as she is and come so far with no marks to her reputation you can understand the upset.------ This thread is Archived ------

I've been told by a tennis pro/teacher that they all do Steroids, etc. A player isn't suppose to be coached from the sidelines, all players are guilty of that, so they all have cheated. I think it should be overturned for sure! Being a tennis player, I certainly have as much or more passion for the game and winning. To reiterate...she is MUCH more likely to cause this kind of scene when losing. People don't want to hear the truth,and truth is, every opponent of Serena starts out with a disadvantage...same scenario pertains to Tiger Woods years ago.Before every tournament all other players are made to believe by every commentator and the Media, they are playing for second place. So week end and week out your being told you're not as good and don't have a chance. Imagine how this might/could/does impact their psyche. Trust me... The mental part of the game(s) is indubitably just as, if not more relevant! Anyway deedee,
