Kaylana04: Hi Arthur!

I just did a trip to your area. It was super easy and super cheap!! Two flights there (through London) all under 100 euros! I left late morning and got there in the afternoon. Absolutely perfect!!

The return was a bit wonky only cause I was trying to please other people. Big mistake...

The small airlines have really changed travelling to smaller countries. Hop, skip and jump where you want.

I would encourage you to expand out further. There’s a wonderful world to explore!!
Hi Kay...
In the tradition of 'a miss being as good as a mile' (putting local meets under the spotlight), I'd consider seeing someone in another country, particularly as I'm at a point now where travel is broadening my mind... Hungary is a particular favorite destination of mine...so, anyone up for a trip to the baths at Szechenyi, followed by a meal at Sao?....

Arthur_Sixpence: HI Anna, yes, I'm based in county Clare, which is pretty quiet regards dating, so my catchment areas for practical purposes would be galway and limerick... If I had a high speed rail link from Ennis to anywhere, well, you can figure out the rest... Money is not an issue, travel time is... Now maybe that speaks lowly to my commitment to find someone, but there's still the working day to consider, and care work never sleeps...
Ennis TGV might be a while away yet laugh

At least if you power walk, you'll actually meet the other person.

It won't be one of those fantasy LDRs where it's all talk, no action

Kay, my geography is worse than useless, I know not where Latvia is... But 100 euros for any plane ride is good value...do Hungary, honestly, it's wonderful, well, I've only done Budapest, but it never ceases to draw me in...and don't mind the skiing, go to the spa baths, ride the trams and the stunning metro 3 line, jeez, I could go on and on... (and as for your skiing secret, it's safe with me, hush hush, nods as good as a wink to a blind horse)...

Low-cost airlines have their downsides, but they do get us to fabulous places cheaply cheering

LDR works if two are willing to work it out, otherwise friendships on a long distance is fine too.handshake

Arthur_Sixpence: Realistically, 1 hour away, (or another country)...
A shame since I've communicated with one really nice woman across country... But who could keep up a long distance relationship...
Discuss if you will...
Distance isn't even a factor for me. If one is going to let distance derail a relationship, then clearly one isn't really that serious about finding someone. That's my view, anyway.
