POF hacked (12)

My account at POF just got hacked. I'm guessing they did not just hack 1 account. If you have a profile there also, you might want to check it.

Yes, they sent me a notification telling me that my password was recently changed.
I had to reset the password, and remove all of the fake pics the hacker put in there.
Then I found out they had sent out 20 mailings to other POF users, and I notified those people that I did not send the message, and to watch their account.
I did not see any way for a person to contact the admin for the POF site, to let them know that it was hacked.

No luck yet. Have recently been trying those foreign dating sites that show up for adds on here every once in a while. Those seem to be for "entertainment only". The sites charge $1 for 2 credits, and give you free 20 credits to start. Many people seem real, and want to meet, but the site edits all emails and messages sent back and forth. Unless people pay the big bucks for info, they wont get it, and even after paying, the person might not agree to it, so they seem like Scam sites. Most of their messages are small silly things.

On another foreign site they charge higher $1 for 1 credit, and the people send large messages (like an email). You can send free messages, and read the 1st message from anyone, but the next messages will cost. The cost is based on the little credits each person seems to want. (don't know who set those rates)

One thing I do notice, is that like many of us, they too are on more than 1 site. Or could just be that their pictures are on many sites. There is always about 10 photos that seem to stand out in my mind, and I see them on every foreign site.
