Bearwoman: When my late husband and I and our two sons had been homeless for some time we felt as if we had been camping but it wasn't much fun.
Being homeless, or camping ?

I was homeless for a month, it's certainly wasn't fun and it wasn't camping as it wasn't holiday.

To enjoy a couple of weeks in tents in woods, you need to have accesses to a permanent home with warm floor in the bathroom, among other conveniences.

I don't enjoy camping.

It's cold and uncomfortable

I can think of better holidays to have.

And they must include a bed.

lol, I once slept in a Hotel in the Czech republic, when at night I woke up and there were 6 wasps in my room. So I started killing them with a towel. One was on the curtain and when I hit that one the curtains came tumbling down, the rail was broken.
Next day I left, won't go there anymore.

Actually I won't go to the Czech republic at all anymore, 16 euro for a half filled washing machine is ridiculous. There are even hotels where you pay for every piece of laundry, 0.50 euro for a pair of underwair, 2 euro for your trousers etc.

One2note: No 2 holidays are the same for me , mainly because I'm not allowed to go back there.
There is camping of course , but who in there right mind , would voluntarily sleep in a tent , with bugs everywhere?
So as an alternative, I'm taking the family to "flu camp" !!
Basically, they inject you with the flu virus & you shiver for a week & its cheap alternative .. win win !!
camping ? Hell no
I wanna sleep in a regular king size bed and use a regular bathroom
