Should we be considered guilty today until proven innocent for any offense someone may accuse us of? Hope not!
One of the most sacred principles in the American criminal justice system, holding that a defendant is innocent until proven guilty. In other words, the prosecution must prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, each essential element of the crime charged.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, article 11, states: "Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defence."
So, are we better off today being guilty until proven innocent? That is so wrong in my mind. Chances are We’d all be living in fear of each other, wouldn’t we?

Tell that to some people on here they have people hanging upon meat hooks before a line of testimony has been heard.
Of course people should have a fair trial with legal representationJMO
Not sure how you arrived at that bro but nice try. You’re talking about war and I’m talking about civil offenses. Itregardless, it is well beyond reasonable doubt what happened when the cowardice Japanese attacked the USA at Pearl Harbor without declaring war.

Thought everyone understood that presumption of innocence only applies to Republicans After all, the moron in charge of the USA has declared several democrats guilty of unproven crimes. As have several members of CS.

For the left leaning, it has nothing to do with guilt or innocence. For them it's about getting their ideology imposed on everyone else at all cost. Truth, innocence, fairness, freedom of speech or due process, all be dammed, as only they and their believes are what's important to them. They think their better, smarter and more honest then anyone else despite their lying, cheating, and robbing other's of their God given rights. They live by the motto: " By any means necessary"
galrads: Hey dude, why don’t you relax and get on an airplane bound for Columbus Ohio USA . While you are here I’ll by you a beer and we can discuss your imagination and blockading skills...
Oops I meant to write bloviating skills, not blockading skills.
Until they refuse to answer yes or no questions on the matter; and try to obfuscate the fact they're not answering questions, by crying whenever they're asked to answer questions with a simple, "yes or no."
At that point: they should be considered as liars, and perjured persons; and every claim they make should be scrutinized very carefully, and thoroughly investigated.
mykingdomforanam: Everyone deserves to be considered innocent.

I think that’s a sad statement. You weren’t there in the 1980s or was it early 1980s or who was the doctor’s driver then but was 100% sure who groped her, whose house was she partying at when she was purportedly groped at blah blah blah. The prosecutor at the confirmation hearing gave the good doctor a lot of rope and the good doctor hung herself. Go back and replay the hearings... in my opinion the circus is all about what Feinstein and groupies want... which isn’t justice.
