pKrema: 4-5 months holiday? You need someone who is a pensioner and have nothing to do... Or a permanently jobless sponger... Or a student, but then you will be a dirty old man for sure...
I am a mature single male, financially just able to make ends meet, almost fit & in good health, who wishes to be invited to cruise the Adriatic Sea -or possibly the Mediterranean- with a young, attractive female. How do I find an attractive, financially independent, yacht owning female who would be interested in weighing anchor with a dirty old man? Is there a website that specialises in this kind of arrangement?
xenonlibra: I am a mature single male, financially independent, fit & in good health, who wishes to cruise the Adriatic Sea for 4-5 months in summer 2019 - on my 12.5m motor yacht with a younger female companion - under 45 years? How do I find such an active, fit & fun person without sounding like a 'dirty old man'? Attitude is most important! Living in close quarters like a boat, it is important to have similar values, high hygiene standards, to be considerate and reasonably tidy, without detracting from the excitement & enjoyment of such an unique & fun experience. By the nature of the shared tasks of planning routes, anchor places, tying up at buoys or moorings, cleaning the boat, laundry and cooking - the person has to be fit & agile and enjoy water activities like snorkelling & swimming. I am well educated & enjoy spending time in warm places & tropical islands. No financial contribution is required & if the person is travelling during her college/university holidays - a modest monthly sum can be paid to meet her personal 'out of pocket' expenses. So the question is: "How does one go about finding such an adventurous person, where & on what type of site?" (I do not use FaceBook or similar social sites - as I am a private person & they seem to occupy too much time) Would welcome comments and suggestions - especially from women who would consider such a venture. OP, You sound picky but that’s your prerogative, may I suggest a blow up doll then that way you don’t have to worry about high hygiene’s standards and etc, you can trained her the way you want her plus she won’t have a attitude or talk back to you
jules46: Sounds wonderful but if you are after a young female unfortunately i may be too old. I am a young at heart 58yr old who loves travelling and sailing.
You should be glad you’re 58, I know your mom told you don’t go nowhere with strangers

I can't tell if this is a serious post or not. But anyone who knows anything about boating/sailing knows there are plenty of boating forums where posting an ad like this would be more appropriate. There are many people who post in them looking for cruising partners or people to crew for them. And as seen so, far posting here is mostly going to get you a bunch of responses from people who are just looking for a reason to poke fun at someone.

Hey. The guy has space on his boat and is just trying to collar someone to fill it.
