That you can't 'read' them well.

I beg to differ Molly .. I'm a great judge of character, which is why I ask to Skype , purely for the reason that when things don't add up , or I have doubts , I think skyping is the only solution. That you can't 'read' them well.

One2note: Humans are visual creatures, like it or not .. If you're willing to travel to , what can only be described as a blind date, so be it , but I won't be taking that risk.
I hear what your saying about visual, but a couple of thoughts go through my head... What of a blind person, what would their criteria be?, voice, scent, touch, intellect?... I suggest many are drawn by different engines of desire...And the oft mentioned 'looks fade'... Inner beauty, in any way you care to name it, never fades, if I get back into a relationship at any point, I know what's going to be my first priority....

The facial expressions, the eyes that never lie, the smile . You can get more information from those characteristics than you can from mailing , weeks & months on end .

Most people exchange pics when they get to know each other.Although myself and my ex totally forgot to do that. We only realised it when we went to meet each other. It didn't make any difference in the long run.
