rizlared: Why? I use bamboo chopsticks every day, I also drink lots of water every day, often straight out of the tap.
Maybe your friend would like to buy a bridge? I have one going at a very good price central London location.
Actually the other post made me think, I have a coffee percolator, the drip coffee type, I have had it for several years, I drink at least one full jug of drip coffee every day, these machines do not boil water, hot but never reach 100 degrees so according to some reports, by now I should be dead
You think any guy who doesn't use bamboo chopsticks, wants to buy a bridge?
And, you don't think the water in China is affecting your health?
I think anyone who is scared to use chopsticks, when they are easily washed is so gullible, they may well be stupid enough to buy a bridge.
And I have never become sick from drinking local water, but I have lived here a long time, I am sure if someone was to visit China and drank my local water it would have an adverse effect, same when I go back to the UK, or when I was in Greece or Russia or even the USA, I am just not convinced that the water is harmful, different and may contain bugs, but our bodies can get acclimatised and adjusted to take that into account.

I was jes thinkin'...
If I was trying to sell a bridge, I'd look for someone who was already buying Chinese water, and chopsticks made in China...
