Was in an international flight? If it was an international flight she should have been made to eat the "squirrel" in front of customs and not pull a stupid bio hazard 'scene' again.
I lived in Europe for 8 years, mainly England, Ireland inc (Nth Eire) and Holland. I was in Botanical Gardens in Belfast and I saw the either red or gray squirrel.....heaps of them (I couldn't tell) but what I found out was that the "rodent" overtakes the indigenous squirrel.
It's just like possums in NZ.
I can understand guide dogs etc but a squirrel, just so she can cause a hassle? Nah, no need for it.
This may sound harsh but I think they both deserve a lethal injection
1080......OR a 7mm 08. At least give her the option, we're not all that bad
CUT A LONG STORY SHORT, kill the rodent and ban her from ever flying their airways again

i imagine the squirrel lady would live to hear from you!
galrads: is the airline justified to kick this woman off the flight because she had a companin squirrel with her?
why didn't she just get a proper carry case, and take her squirrel on the flight like one would take along a small dog, cat, ferret, or whatever.... when my son was very young, his hamster (in a case) was permitted to fly with him.
Service dogs are allowed on planes, in ambulances, and hospitals; because "They're trained to do a task that aids their disabled handler."
Companion dogs, therapy dogs, and emotional support dogs, aren't service dogs; and under the Americans With Disabilities Act, they don't qualify for the same exceptions.
An Emotional Support Squirrel?
Wild animals aren't pets. I'll bet she can't put her hand in the cage while it's boarding the plane.
I'll bet to carry a squirrel on a plane full of passengers, the squirrel was on an inhumane amount of drugs.
