Confusing ( Archived) (6)

Well, coming friday my chess-team has to play against a team of a different city.
I'm the teamcaptain and with about 15 players I planned not to play myself.

This because I'm used to visit my mother on friday since my father died in May this year.
The even weeks I cook, the other weeks, my mother cooks, and so we make it nice together. This friday it's my turn again.
Because I am teaching till 16.00 hours I can't be with my mother before 16.30 and if I had to play I had to leave allready around 18.30.

But then a lot of players said they couldn't play. So I'll have to play
So I called my mother to ask her if she can prepare some things, so I don't have to hurry, then I hear she is going to her place of birth coming friday, so she won't be home at all.

And that while I was arranging things, like being picked up at her place, then I have 15 minutes more time. (I don't have a driverslicence).

I feel like throwing an empty beercan against the wall, with a full can it will be spoiling of the beer, that would be a pity.

Do you ever had such experiences?

Depending on other people for a ride. Especially family
