It's a great invention for sure but not the best.11
Refrigiration is one great invention. Unless you love sour milk in the morning.
The airplane is another great one. It's directly contributed to the development of the world.
Same for the helicopter.
I can think of many more, like medicine and solar panels but, like my mom used to say when going to bed, whoever invented the bed is genius
