People from normal , run of the mill, human beings, into silent obnoxious zombie like creatures ? The same people, who would befriend you , in an otherwise normal circumstances and would give you the time of day ,suddenly change into different creatures once they hit central London !!
I've never lived in a big city for any extended period as I have no interest in that lifestyle. I guess there is too much to do , with too many people, to get too involved with individuals. I don't know.

Big cities... you know when you carefully watch animals in their natural habitat and in captivity...

There's a happy medium, small town life... I live deep in the heart of the countryside, very easy to see the social effects as you move into more densely populated areas... Not helped with 'bubble life', which in fairness is just about everywhere... My town, Ennis still feels like a place of inclusion, people are friendly, talkative, kindly... I know this isn't a sell London thread, but I do like to visit the smoke when I'm in the UK... I grew up in Southall, so got very used to living among a different culture to straight up English...

I didn't move away from city living until 15 years ago, moving to the country, no sound pollution, absolutely no light pollution, only the sounds of nature around, took a good three months to adjust to... I still need a city fix now and again, just to ground myself...
