Yeah, I saw the new Halloween 2 weeks ago. It was pretty good, or at least I thought so. I had been wanting to see it ever since I found out they made another one. If you're a fan of slasher flicks, go see itDid you hear its already gaining a sequel.

I haven't seen it, but I tend to find slasher movies the least scary from of horror. Basically they the story is you are introduced to some annoying people and then they are all killed off by X, and then the last one left kills the clothes hanger that killed the rest of them. I mean if you cant stop the thing killing them all then were is the tension?
Tension should be based on menace with the possibility that the person could live or die, not the certainty that most of these annoying brats will pop their clogs at some point.
That said the first Halloween Movie was superb, as Michael was just a glimpsed shape for most of it and it let the sense of something wrong build up. The sequels were hit or miss. YMMV.

bunny the killer thing, is the best horror movie , in my opinion .

I don't like those slasher movies either...give me a good story line like a psychological thriller any day and I will love it...the haunting of hill house has been the series I have watched to date...its a Netflix original.....
