Yep it is that easy and should be done in an orderly fashion. Really........
Some of you believe this is how it is going to be done?
What I expect is that hordes of the migrants are going to storm the borders an gain entrance this way or come by boats.
As someone pointed out, the militairy can not stay at the border forever wave wave wave Jenny

I'd like to know who are you to say they should be allowed to come into the US? You are not an American citizen so to my mind you have nothing to say about who should or shouldn't be allowed to enter another country. I think Greyhound should send a bunch of buses to the border and offer these people a free ride to the Canadian border and you all can deal with them. gift

Nope. It would cost American TAXPAYERS 1 BILLION dollars just to process 5,000.
It will cost 1 BILLION for a wall and BILLIONS more to keep them.. and that is before they send for their cousins doh

We should certainly do more than we're doing... As a nation, we have a very good track record on welcoming foreign nationals, they have bought cultural diversity and a solid work ethic in my experience and dealings... They do the jobs the Irish don't want to do....not unlike the Irish themselves did when they migrated around the world post famine...

Most countries have their own poor people and homeless ones
The US, Canada, Holland, just neem a country that does not have that problem them selve
21 stores are laying of thousands of people here in Canada in February 2019
Same is happening in the US, large stores laying off people or closing alltogether
Just finding a solution for the poor homeless is a big problem.

Canada is dealing daily with large groups who want to stay there
If they have what Canada needs they can stay and so far many have been allowed
Others are checked out and that may take 1-2 years, Canada has to house and feed them in the meantime
In the end they may be send back to their own homeland

Crime is very high there now refugees demanding to get the best houses etc
The Dutch are a generous people and yes feel for those who have less as we all do
Refugees here have to go into a program called direct provision, which is akin to a prison term while they await clearance for citizenship, it's a bloody hard time, a hand full of euros to buy food, the equivalent of an internment camp, and frankly, little more than the kindness of strangers (us) to help them along... I don't doubt crime exists, but crime exists in developed and settled societies every bit as much as it does with migrant and unsettled societies...
There are no easy answers, if better minds than ours can't get it right, the best we can do is try and show compassion...their lives and kids and families mean as much to them as our lives and kids and families mean to us....we're not that different under the skin...

That is exactly what happened in Holland
The Dutch could make more money in Germany so they gov had to bring in people from Poland
Greeks, Italians etc. They were to stay only for two years
It is now 60 years later and you guessed it, they still live in Holland
