pKrema: I don't mind "socially", "rarely", "trying to quit" smoking for as long as he doesn't smoke inside the house...
'Trying to Quit' is the worst form of self delusion possible. It's like saying, 'I'll go on that diet just as soon as I finish this box of doughnuts.' People who say 'trying to quit' have invariably been saying that for years. And will always be saying it. You're either a smoker. Or you're not.

pKrema: I am a former smoker too, and same, just stopped smoking at once...there's no other way, really...
I have huge respect for quitters. But here's the thing...the most difficult part is to STAY quit. How do you resist when you're out with a drink in your hand, and everyone around you is smoking??

Resist? It can never, ever tempt me again... Once in my dream I got persuade to smoked and I was totally devastated (still in my dream) that I did it, I felt guild ridden when I woke up and this awful feeling hounded me the whole day...

Wow. That says volumes about you. So once you make up your mind about something, that's it!

Interesting both of my last two near misses were smokers and one of the reasons they stayed near misses was because they smoked and I will be very surprised if I ever went out with a smoker as I don't want that stink about and kiss a lady who smokes.
