Given the arguments against eating meat, I would like to point out a couple of aspects.

Energy is neither created nor destroyed.

Plants and animals contain energy - also known as a life force.

We consume that energy. That force continues on through existence.
The cycle never stops.

I prefer that what I consume was grown in the same sunlight and same soil where I live.
The energy is positive and natural.

So.... in order for the human race to survive, we must consume energy.
Sources of energy are from the world around us - be it meat, fruit, nuts or twigs...
The fact remains -- what we consume was once alive and that item has now given of its life to sustain the cycle of life and energy.

It is completely normal and acceptable.
In the end, I will give my life energy to others as well.

Now for the attachment of a "morality" to whether you eat meat or not???

I am tired of the "holier than thou" attitude that people walk around with.

Whether people eat or don't eat doesn't impact their level of morality in this world.
I'm not "good" or "bad" if I eat meat.

That is the real problem - arrogance that leads to severing relationships and a demise of the human race.
