A slight twisting of my words there, friend.What I said is that most 50 year old men would be perfectly happy to date a 20 year old woman, if they got a chance.
But the reality is that women tend to have hang-ups about age, and so virtually no 20 year old woman, in a Western context anyway, will date a 50 year old man. The afore-mentioned 50 year old man therefore tends to date closer to his age. My point is that this is not necessarily out of choice on the man's part.
For the record, I am 46, and most of the women I have dated were actually older than me. So there ya go!

Are all older mature men only interested in dating much younger women, is there still a chance for us mature older women, or as one friend suggested…...should we all lie about our age and post photos from when we were 10 - 15 years younger, in order to attract mature older men? Are mature men afraid of us mature women, because most of us are "set" in our ways?
The older I get the less 'age' has anything to do with it and more our attitude and openness.That Mark Twain quote comes to mind

I could write the reasons, why I think women are starting to find it hard to get a man, but already have, many times and all they do is get defensive and deny everything, so this problem will begin to increase for women in the west and it might be too late to change things now
