galrads: Does your apartment have water boiler and radiant heat, GG ?
I suspect there's a boiler and units on the roof....haven't seen the equipment here but each unit has one or two convection units for heating and cooling.

well, in my country most people put it on 18 degrees, but most of the time mine is off, I'm not home very much. And when I feel cold at house, I take a hot shower and when I'm warmed up enough, I go to bed.
I leave my door open all the time, day and night, winter and summer, unless I plan on being gone from sunrise to sunset; and my stove is outside on the porch, so it doesn't warm my house at all.
I have a fan over my bed; and besides the 85 gallon tubs of rain water I catch from my roof, or clothes, those are the only forms of climate control I need.
