I’m in a apt, it’s control from me, I think on 4 then it’s control from the boiler room in the basement, hot in here, my fan on and don’t want to tell the landlord it’s too hot, then she’ll cut it down and it will be cold then
mykingdomforanam: I leave my door open all the time, day and night, winter and summer, unless I plan on being gone from sunrise to sunset; and my stove is outside on the porch, so it doesn't warm my house at all.
I have a fan over my bed; and besides the 85 gallon tubs of rain water I catch from my roof, or clothes, those are the only forms of climate control I need.

There is no central heating in the house, consequently no thermostat. Heating is by wood burning stove. Average temperature is 17°c at its best, more likely to hover around 14°c At 10° or below I would always light the stove, above that it depends on mood and time of day.
