secretagent09: No kidding. I turn it off and it says "Goodbye" but then it turns itself on and says "Hello"
Anybody have an idea why it's doing that.
It's hungry for some good music.... Feed it progressive rock in the morning, (a workout), ease back a bit in the afternoon with some bee-bop and a bit of acid jazz (recommend JTQ), by drive time slap on some 70s disco...keep that up for a few hours, say till 9pm, then some Finnish goth metal (try not to burn down any churches there)....by then, your stereo will be so tired out, it will sleep peacefully for a week.... Now who do I send the bill to?....

If it has wifi then it could be your phone (assuming you have your phone set up for your stereo).
If not the phone, it could be just a mechanical fault (on/off switch contacts stuck together) . A fairly common fault due to manufacturers using cheap parts/components. Only way to turn of/onf is to pull the plug.
Perhaps it has a timer ... mine can be set to turn on and off up to three times a day ... wake up to music, turns off when I leave the house, it's on again when I arrive home and turns itself off at bed time ( and there's a third program that dos different @ weekends.
On the other hand, maybe you're just a bit old n decrepit and so shakey that when you hit 'off' you're hitting 'on' again as well ?
I could mention DTs or dementia ... but I'm wayyyyy too polite !!!
