Would you accept Facebook as a step forward in getting to know someone better from here and to have them in your social space....or would that creep you out?.... Myself, I would contact a few on here and invite them into my life space, as friends, with all that follows on from that...

I'd be of the same mind, I keep my contacts from my home phone as my friends on FB, the usual rule is, *have we had dinner and a damn good chat about life*, if yes, that's the qualifier...hence, they are all real worlder's, and not FoF's or spoofers.... Here, it's similar, but without the dinner part.... But It's not difficult to see who you're going to get along with...

Agreed, which is why I wouldn't invite someone that I hadn't had considerable and positive interaction with...It would be a damming indictment on people here if there was no one that you, I or others wouldn't/couldn't consider worthy of FB inclusion... Or maybe I'm gullible, and too trusting...

Yeah, I agree... How many times do we get friend requests from people with whom we have responded to less than here, and yet accepted them quite arbitrarily.... There's nothing to say that your friends friend will be equal to your direct friend...
