annaroach: Isn't it futile, to hold grudges, and to stay angry, for things that happened in the past,, who does that affect only ourselves. Is your opinion different from mine?
I agree with you 100% Anna Life is too short to carry negative thoughts around with us and it is self defeating to do so. Oh, the memories will remain with us simply as reminders of how to do better the next time and perhaps a life lesson. I love the concept of not carrying around any possible guilt associated with what has happened in the past.

So far I´ve used Facebook to search and destroy three of my former primary school classmates

I don;t know if it is futile or not, but I agree that it is not a good idea. It can be a challenge. I recommend focusing attention elsewhere. So even if you do not forgive, you will be otherwise occupied and not thinking about your grudge so much. It's hard to stay angry at someone who you never think about

Few people benefit from the past mistakes, when I say mistake not necessarily yours but mistakes that got you messed up in the first place. Letting it go is good for us to move on, it doesn't mean to forget about it, all it means rap it and store it in your memory in a safe place where you can benefit from it by looking back & analyzing step by step how you got there for only us can see the inner problem and solve it accordingly. By doing so we'll make us stronger mentally and prevent us falling into the trap over and over again.

I used to hitch-hike all over the place; and a favorite gag of spoiled rich kids, is, waiting till you run to the car, then burning rubber, and all laughing at the person, in the rear window...
I quickly learned to release any anger towards them.
I'd stand there happily waving at the jerks, who I didn't wanna ride with, anyway...
They'd get so angry at our 15 second past, the time and energy they wasted trying to piss me off, and watching me smiling and waving at them....
They'd start cussing and yelling, and flipping me off! and I'd just smile and wave more. lol
Psychic vampires try to trick you into angry grudges, so they can suck your energy.
If you give in, you'll be the one feeling bad.
Just rise above them; and you'll be the one laughing.
