I was so glad when cassettes turned to cds and they couldn’t get all ripped up 
Someone on here asked if I had any vinyl records but I never had any of those my mother has lots tho from the 70s

Ah there was nothing worse than your favourite record being scratched...it'd just play the same few words or notes over and over and over and over and over again...it was so annoying the neighbours would almost come in and turn it off.... very angrily too lol

Well I was born in 1976 so by the time I was into music it was already cassettes. I still have one small box of old cassettes from the early nineties which my elder son loves. They are all that rave music. He likes all the stuff I liked though which is amusing. My younger son don’t like my old music though he has no interest in what I used to like as yet though. I have two sons they are both adults now but are like chalk & cheese. Both very different.
