All these quota goats would simply melt away by tackling the root cause; the problem in parenting encapsulated by the phrase "never let anybody tell you you're not good enough".
In many ways we ought to do what the left wants. We should annihilate all the courses from university which could not possibly exist without western privilege, such as feminist or general studies. A dramatic overassumption of adundance belies the downfall of merit, it wouldn't be a bad idea to ban all the courses that people simply wouldn't go to had they come from actual poverty.
from the dumbing down of public high schools to disrespectful behavior that equals criminal harassment [of the college students in the video]...., I am simply glad my children are already graduated from college. Standards exist for a reason. People of all races and both genders have struggled to meet them for decades,
While it's good that colleges remain places that care about diversity, their diplomas still need to mean something. And campuses are still often unsafe for young women. The women in the video could be more concerned about that than the fact that someone does not share their political viewpoint.
Young people who show no respect for someone with a Fellowship who attended Cambridge and graduated with a law degree from Stanford do not have enough understanding of what a college education means to be allowed to attend.
The culture needs to find some sort of happy medium between the sense of being one false move away from starving and too big to fail. Too big to fail wasn't just the banks, it's an attitude to life fairly common in the first world and it's the reason we don't demand best man for the job to the same extent as before.
I don't know about this gender and colour thing as it's not happening here, but the education today isn't a privilege of the smart one... There are so many useless degrees and so many useless "professionals" that are virtually jobless before they even graduate... There is no equality when it comes to brain capacity...

So, in your opinion, is it justufied to gain entrance to recieve a higher education if its not based on brain capacity?

A higher degree is a piece of paper that many like to have framed and hanging on the wall...and that's just all about it... This is what I am trying to say... Paid "graduates"... Who unfortunately "study" for prestige and all they do afterwards is waiting tables to pay the university loans... Give more chances to brainy people to study for free...instead of trying to equalize everyone because this way you won't hurt anyone's feelings... You can't make a flute from just any piece of wood...

Did you go to college Krema. You seem to have some knowledge of it?
I really do not see a lot of college graduates working as waitresses, although waitressing can pay quite well. Sometimes people do end up employed in fields other than where they trained due to life circumstances.
That is my situation, and while the circumstances are no one else's business, I still feel that I have benefited from my education. my diplomas are not meaningless pieces of paper. I worked very hard in my major - for my graduate degree in particular. I was also exposed to a diversity of individuals and ideas.
Here in the U.S. a lot depends on what one majors in. If someone majors in a field where the job demand is high they should have no trouble. It can sometimes take awhile to find that job though and one could do worse than waitressing in the mean time.

Yes, I went to university, paid the fees myself, no loan as I worked as a cake decorator, going to work 4 in the morning before lectures... I never actually stopped educating and always been flexible with what I pursue... The people I was talking about go for degrees in subjects absolutely useless and with rare to almost impossible opportunity to find a job...and keep it... Waiting tables deserves more admiration in my eyes than somebody full of hot air pretending to be useful to society...

I'd be surprised if it is not happening at all in Bulgaria, but certainly Eastern Europe is much less infected with this odious poison than Western Europe....

I agree with every word you say here. You should see the unnecessary flute production we get in this country.
