Have returned from Dominican republic a month ago. Planning to go to Spain for 3 weeks the coming May. Dunno though if it would induce any envy - any one can do it. It's not like leave it all and retire to a water villa all inclusive on an atoll to the rest of your life.

Not sure that anyone can do it, financially speaking. It's nice to have a trip planned, have a ball

I don't know about full of envy, but I'm looking at having a camping trailer hand-built over the next few months... A change in my work schedules means every fortnight I'll have a four day break...that's enough to go places and explore...which is what I intend to do (with bingo)... Happy Times ahead....

That sounds like a plan. Do you enjoy camping ?
No Anna, I don't like camping, tents and all that stuff doesn't do it for me, but this divice I'm looking to get built is a sub-compact half caravan, the sort of thing never seen on Irish roads, it means I can go anywhere, at any time the fancy takes me..and what I love is travel, and getting off the grid...

Ok, when you said camping trailer i thought of what we had when camping with the children, many moons ago.
We have it mild here as well so far, but in the end of November we've got a snow storm and snow didn't melt at once, but accumulated to ca 5 cm layer and I's driving late at night after late paddling (to see bio-luminescence) on summer tires.
Experienced fear of god for the second time in my life.
Snow melted though after few hours. And I made it home. Scared, but otherwise as my usual self. The end's good - everything's good :)

Ah yes, trailer tents, no, though I did do tents proper, and I still have them, though they haven't seen the light of day in years... Some happy memories of trying to get dressed in a tiger paws one man tent...when your nearly the size of the tent you're sleeping in, fun ensues...
