This is traditionally celebrated here in Ireland, today January 6th
Its where the women take the day off household duties and relax .
They usually go out together for a meal or drinks

It is also known widely in the rest of the world as the Epiphany

It's the day St John baptized Jesus in the waters of river Jordan...that's what we celebrate today...

We may look a bit weird tho... laugh
On this day following the tradition men to go into the freezing cold waters of a river and have a special folklore dance (horo)... The priest throws a big cross in the river and men dive to look for it...

Its the one time in the year i drink a full bottle of Bucks fizz ha ha This year M&S had a special one cranberrie and clemintine it was brilliant xx
