smiley963: Yes some are naturally responsible adults, actually most of them.
No I'm not joking!!!

Somewhere alone the lines the education structure changed between "adults" and childlike-adults, as adults generally need a ego boost a couple of times a day, and if not had it for the day, will visit a bar e.g. for needed ego.
No, nobody is naturally responsible...you need examples to see and learn...
As for the second part of your post... Really?

Ok, for the last time:
Responsibility, you grow up from as a child, and if you're not scared to carry it, you develop it from trial and error experiences. Very simple. I totally disagree with you!

And the second post - Really!!!

You know what my kids said earlier today:
They are so glad to be living with me, as it is a calm environment, with no hang-ups. They can just be themselves. a Peacefull environment - Not many can say that? They are responsible enough to know what to do when, in their studies and entertainment. I don't push them to do whatever, or hang over their shoulders all then time, to make sure it's done.

Responsibility....

What does that really mean?

Response ability...

The ability to respond, is why we close our eye, if someone tries to poke it. It comes naturally.

It seems like most people think responsibility means: You own so much property and have so much savings, that you don't need to know how to respond to hard times.

To me, responsibility means: You have the ability to respond to any situation, and overcome it.

I think that's why Jesus taught his disciples not to lay up treasure, worry about what they'd eat, drink, wear, and why he sent them out barefoot, without food, or money, and with nothing but the clothes on their backs...

Sometimes whole nations collapse, and anybody can find themselves without money, food, or a blanket.

Responsibility, is the ability to respond to things that force us out of our comfort zones, in comfort.

I guess become like children mentally?
A good place to research this subject is "Transactional Analysis" " Games That People Play" By Dr Eric Bearne. If you're interested.

We all seem to have different views on responsibility, and I choose my own, as it is proven time and again!
