Kids , yes , include 20+ year olds, I was invited to Christmas Dinner at a relative's house , 2 young men (kids) ate with their caps on , where is and what has happened to manners ? In addition to those , 2 other older men (?) , the 4 of them looked like brush-hogs , they think that is attractive and enticing, and do it to attract attention , IT CERTAINLY DOES. They want their phones, so-called friends, and have been taught to soak up a lot of the b.s. current events with out question. Education teaches all of the opposite about self accountability, responsibility, history, and use selective(even unsubstantiated) science teachings. I can't even list all that's been lost in the educational system any more. I can vouch that it starts from grade school and might only slightly improve by high school.
No self motivation and even self esteem can be questionable. If it requires work and effort, reading and writing, studying, or even research above and beyond; forget it. They fight it tooth and nail with even more vigor from their one sided "support" base.
I've noticed how California's educational system was tanked for years and now suddenly, it's one of the better systems. If you reverse education into dumbing down, you now have a more top notch system.
Yes, if children aren't taught better by and/or with parental involvement, they are going to be well beyond lost until later years when they finally recall what the original lessons were in the first place. Sad that it might take something harsh for that realization to come forward. No chance of being remotely rounded with a parent from each side. The other side is truly the menace to society and they really will eat their young for their own personal gains. Even to feel better about themselves at the least.

As a youth councilor, I used to talk a lot with the under-20 and still do now, when they permit.Based on my conversations with a lot young people, I'd say it's the adults who are lost.

The problem i see mostly with childern here the tech, the city kids here don't seem to be able to their ipads down... alot of the problem is in the parenting, the parents are far to busy making money and they don't have the time to raise their childern properly. So kids are brought up with tech, there is enough information out there about the affects of to much tech.------ This thread is Archived ------
