this (my post) is the last post in that forum, lets see if it does same with this forum

Ditching the old USA new world order 1934, gold back economy in 1984 half wit Ronald Regan proclaimed a new, new world order according to America, price of goods and services be set by supply and demand...
So then the UK turned its back on the colonials down-under, who had fed Britain throughout its darkest hour during the time Germany and its allies tried to cobble up the UK .

The United Kingdom promptly sunk our countries agricultural industries, killed off producers of butter, cheese, mutton and wool over night thus tipping our economies towards the brink of total disaster...errrr

And so the UK and Eu countries increased the level of subsidies paid to there food producers to an extent many farmers were paid to berry there crops and feed milk back to there cows.
The EU formed a common market, which has thus far been bailed out at least two times by America, however the Americans became quite unhappy with the unwillingness of many third poorer countries to play ball, that was compounded by America's loss of control over the UN and World Bank, the latter funding third world countries enhanced gold reserves...
The UK stitched up Greenland with a lot of derivative contracts and Greenland offered up-yours to United Kingdom and Scottish Banks, then America acted in leaking that Greece ( who had not unknowingly) borrowed in derivatives...
(A derivative is a financial security with a value that is reliant upon, or derived from, an underlying asset or group of assets. The derivative itself is a contract between two or more parties, and its price is determined by fluctuations in the underlying asset.) (Which American Home Owners lost their homes with to.)
Unspoken issues that include Russia is unwilling to allow America to create another world war in the the way they created WW2 when over 20 million Russians were killed.
Unspoken issues like Italian government’s debt, at €2.5 trillion ($2.95 trillion), is about the same size as the debt owed by the French and German governments, and is larger than the combined government debt of Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Ireland, the four countries that needed financial bailouts.

Several threads seem to have disappeared today.

Someone is upset about his Atheism thread being pulled, and Hairball's "Western Civilization" thread has vanished too (it can still be accessed through a cicuitous route through Hairball's other threads, but is not visible in the index).

I always appreciated the fact that this website didn't have Moderating Nazis breathing down everyone's neck like most forums seem to. Sadly, this seems to have changed, which will pretty much kill the debate, and thus kill any enjoyment of being here.

Sad.

Rob, can you please expand upon this more??
How did the UK do this?
The second line should mention that farmers were producing too much! Farms have gotten so big and so efficient that there is a surplus in the markets... We have to look for a way to actually use the produce.

It is frustrating that as farmers are more "successful", the government has to help them stay afloat.

Latvia is part of the "dairy belt". If they produce "too much" (a calculated point) that isn't sold, they are heavily fined by the EU. Other countries, I think Italy is one on the list, who are fined, refuse to pay it.

What type of business model punishes people for being more productive?

So, now I guess they go for a hard Brexit. Everyone loses.
Or maybe the against voters should say what they want and don't want in the deal Teresa May made with the EU?
What's needed to let them vote for the deal?

It is very necessary the UK leaves the EU, that will be a sign to other countries that want to get out that they can get out if they want to.
Of course the Brexit and the future of the UK has to become a great success, so countries can see they don't need the EU.

Life isn’t bad enough here and to grasp the nettle is just about not worth it. It’s too diffuse, a wave of discontent rather than an attempt at overthrow.

Anyway we allow the United States of Europe to happen and then we get a Trump later.

they introduced tariffs to protect their countries farmers, also governments increasingly subsidized cost of production.
Tariffs were placed on imports from other countries that created many imbalances as farmer profits were protected against competition from other countries growers.
In most of Europe and UK farming lobby groups successfully lobbed for ever more government subsides.
In the UK more farmer grew less variety of crops attracted the higher government subsides, to protect the prices farmers were paid, and then paid to plough the crops in when there was a surplus.

Like Australia did governments bullshitted farmers to reduce the animal numbers, here when the UK stopped buying wool Australia couldn't sell its clip, or its mutton. So government claimed sheep flocks had johne's disease and brought in compulsory testing for something that all sheep carried in there system and culled half the flock in Australia as UK had stopped buying mutton and wool.
New Zealand culled its dairy cow numbers by herd testing for Leptospirosis, which all cows carry...
Cows carry all the time many diseases including anthrax, brucellosis, cryptosporidiosis, dermatophilosis, Escherichia coli, giardiasis, leptospirosis, listeriosis, pseudocowpox, Q fever, rabies, ringworm, salmonellosis, tuberculosis, and vesicular stomatitis.
In France farmers were feeding milk powder to their cows.
UK gave the minds of there dairy farmers Mad Cow Disease...cows soon after calving often suffer from what's commonly known as Milk Fever, the cow often cannot move its back legs and will often die from Milk Fever unless the farmers doesn't intervene and giving an injection of calcium borogluconate the cow will die. Human-female also can suffer from milk fever to.
(a copy and paste: Signs observed during this stage include loss of appetite, excitability, nervousness, hypersensitivity, weakness, weight shifting, and shuffling of the hind feet. The clinical signs of stage II milk fever can last from 1 to 12 hours. The affected animal may turn its head into its flank or may extend its head)
Anyway UK killed off half its herd of milking cows by bullshitting their dairy farmers that cows videoed with milk fever symptoms had contracted Mad Cow Disease...
