You know, I believe that everyone makes their own worlds. As long as you only mingle with the people you choose to, and have a choice to, the world is yours! I don't want to live in a bubble of my making and ignore real people with real issues because "they don't happen to be in my world". I don't put my head in the sand without thinking my butt is sticking out. I have eyes to see and hear to hear and what I see and hear I cannot simply ignore out of a selfish desire to "feeeeel" good.
One must admit there is something wrong to want to stand up and help a situation where a whole family doesn't have electricity, water or food... Good feelings are nothing beneficial if they prevent us from being human to those around us and the strangers we hardly ever think about on a daily basis.

People are all different, with different everything just about, and just a very few things, slightly in common. Most people do charity, and help others, it's the norm, and if you move in those specific circles, you boast about how much you help others.
