Since being exposed to the Blogs, Polls and Threads, I have noticed something I find very significant: If it is a long standing member, most will reply in their favour, and the member expects it too. While if it is a not so well-known member, a lot of controversy is displayed.

I wonder why?
Isn't that how things work in real life too? Perhaps it's the difference between having been accepted as a member of the club and still being in the probationary, testing stage.

smiley963: You, and your friends, called me all sorts, what are you doing now?
Could you please clarify to whom you are referring?? And what I have called you? I am merely pointing out that the system does not show how long people have been on the site... The only way of knowing is by being here a long time. And you seem to have been here for some time.
To me jumping on the band wagon would mean to support a cause only because it is popular to do so. If you 'jump on the bandwagon' that is. Which I don't believe I do even if my original intentions were't to do so.Yes believe it or not I'm not flawless.

smiley963: Would you recon yourself, a long standing member then?
It sometimes feels like it but when I see some people say how many years the've been here I feel like a newcomer. I've been here long enough to establish my friends and enemies, although there's always room for more of either, especially the enemies.
