Well, we can't always lean on the USA and expecting them to protect us, while we don't pay our fair share.
We want to stand on our own two legs, without the help of the USA, and the USA is tired of breastfeeding us.
So I think it is a good idea, we finally get control of our own countries. A fifth worldpower, next to the USA, Canda, Russia and China.

UK is voted in in this army...... and the better word is police. and police is for me worse creepier.
A police does investigations and has power to hold.
the usa was spending massive on army.
there was no competition. don't blame to EU for saying in a time of separate countries to go to hell with armies.
the UK followed and failed.
some lame as countries got the quick ride.
USA was leading, the rest was getting or stealing or making a niche market. this is the world of all markets.
and still the usa lost in a lot of fields.
the usa also had the international benefits of it. collapsing governments. and profit and terror and power.
not to mention the Hollywood deals and propaganda. :-)

Hahaha I don’t see itbhapppening for a number of valid reasons. Who would make any decision to commit the army to war? Would it have to be a unanimous vote by all eu nations or a moajority rule with the tie breaker being the Pope in Rome? What would happen if Russia had a broken arrow over Spain and it detonated accidentally. Is the eu going to try and retaliate against Russia for the nuke? The USA should have a date to pull all nukes out of Europe as it intends to pull its military and nukes from the Korean Peninsula.
I think the eu would be better off wth something like the Maginot Line separating Western Europe from everything east of it. All labor for this project should be bought and paid for by refugee slackers raping all the women in Europe.

The NZ PM has been in europe negotiating trade deals with the EU, and was also called in for talks with the NATO bosses..
The NATO bosses want more input from NZ in training of iraqi sercuity forces and some mention of afganistan to, can they not train their own sercuity in these countries... or the people of the country don't the government / ruler's.

I wonder why this reared its ugly head?, could it be Trump was first not to be frightened to ask all countries to pay proper dues to N ATO not leave it to few. Could it have something to do with Brexit and thus giving America a base for missiles in our country. It could be plan to divert news from what's happening in their own country. Who knows.
