Coming from a household in which the record collection consisted of Beethoven, Bach, and Mahler, "We're Not Gonna Take It" was the first rock song I ever heard. I still have a sentimental attachment to it.
As an aside, it is perhaps worth mentioning at this point, that Donald Trump wanted to use it as a campaign anthem. He rang Dee Snider, the singer and writer of the song, to ask permission. Snider told Trump he'd rather he didn't use it. But Snider is on record (no pun intended) as saying that he admires Trump for having the decency to call him and ask. "Most politicians would just use it and not bother asking". You can see the interview with Snider about this, on You Tube.

Well, I posted it before, The greenhouse effect by TestAmenT. Or what about Inherrit hell by Nuclear Assault. (most of the N.A. songs are very critic about the world we live in). Or The earth song by Michael Jackson. well, there are many good songs to make us aware of what is going on. Megadeth - Peace sells, but who's buying is another one.
