Lots of people will tell you things that will put the blame squarely on someone else's shoulders. Accept the blame yourself, and admit it to yourself, and take yourself in hand.
Only You can make you into your ideal. Believe in yourself and the sky is the limit. Afterwards everything will fall into place like a puzzle!!!

the system is holding us all back. They say how many money you have and what are the laws. They tell you to work, get just enough money to buy food and other stuff you need and a little extra for fun things like holidays, going to the zoo etc. It's as simple as that. I'm not born a millionair, nor won I ever a lottery. It's the big companies that decide for us.

Are you saying that compared to other people in the same position as you, you are earning less than them?
We all earn money for a living, and wasn't given no free anything in life. If you can get a better job, paying more money, go for it. Some people are so stuck in their ways that they don't want to make the effort to try for something else, that will pay more money.

No, I ain't saying that. When we make more money, we gotta pay more tax. If we rent a house, the rent is based on your income from the last year. So it's difficult to get out of the position of having little money, a lot of hard working people in my country can't pay their bills anymore, gas and electricity became about 25% more expensive, the healthinsurance about 10%, foods and drinks about 2%. And how much extra money did we get from our boss? About 5%
They tell us they want to close the gap between the highest salaries and the lowest. So the lowest get about 6% more money, about 720 a year, the highest over 12.000 a year.
And of course on the question what's holding you back in life, health is also a big issue.

But that is the same in all countries. Labour is more rewarding now, and being elite is not much difference. Yes the more you earn the more Tax you pay, supporting the people without jobs, drawing a pension of sorts.

Reason and finite resources. Nowhere in this universe would my dream come true.

Yes, and the tax is also to run the country by a good and decent government. Unfortunately in the most countries on the world there ain't such a government. My government for an instance won't allow me to marry someone from out of the EU. Because my income isn't high enough. On the other hand they make a lot of stupid decissions and mistakes, many people on important posts in my country where fired the last 20 years because they made big mistakes, lied etc. Then after the elections, suddenly they are back, and noone can get them to court for their mistakes, while we are paying the tax for those mistakes. It's just like throwing away money that's not yours.
Well, I don't need nobody to tell me what to do, what's good and wrong, so I don't need a goverment. Most governments, including the dutch only looks at what's good for the multinationals. They don't care about us, we're only puppets.

Competition is the word! You must be able to believe in yourself, and not give up for anything. Those competing with you, you will leave behind easily. You then get the top position, just bring yourself.

Personally, your scenario is possible in most countries, but not necessarily so!

We all see striving to our goals, as essential, when young. Then some of us loose the way and give up, when older, as you have seen that life is not that easy.
Keep on striving towards your seemingly impossible goals. Your day will come. Just don't give up!
