I see Ireland as a beautiful country, that's been conquered by bloody Brits, which caused my family to leave it...

I see Ireland as my true home; but I've never seen Ireland.

Ireland beautiful place, people were more than friendly.

History should stay as HISTORY and each live in our own delightful ways.

After all a smile grin means the same in any language or countrylips

My home for the last 17 years...
A different vibe to UK, people are decent here, they still have time for each other, a bit like Britain in the 50s and 60s... Country life takes some getting used to, but the rewards are in it...
Plenty of rain whipping in from the Atlantic, but on a good day the coasts are a treat...
Irish women are lovely, they're sassy, direct, can do'ers who bring a lot to work and recreation, and as relationship partners, I doubt you'd find better out there if you're a man looking for an equal...
All in all, moving out here was the best move I ever made....

Yeh but they couldn't hack it though...we eventually..unlike most other countries...got the better of them....it's part of the reason why our place names in irish are so unfathomably difficult to pronounce...so they'd confuse the brits.....worked a treat lol....

MiguelUknow: Potato eaters
Short version.
Potatoes were introduced to Ireland by the English, who brought them from South America. (Open to correction)

Irelands climate, especially the south west, was better suited to grow them than Englands climate.

It's a bigger event worldwide than it is here.
Except of course, for the die hard piss heads who don't need much reason to go on the beer.
