Not really.
The day itself is not celebrated here. But some commercial businesses (primarily bars) try to exploit the day for commercial gain.
Personally, I try to remember as many national saints' days as I can; as someone of primarily English descent, St. Georges' Day is the main one for me (April 23rd). But I do have some slight Irish ancestry on my father's side.
