Somebody told her that
there was a place like heaven

Across the water on a 747

Yeah, we're living in
In a modern world

And pretty soon
she's really got the notion

Of flying out across the big blue ocean

Yeah, we're living in
In a modern world...

dancing drinking
cool

HexagonKeySet: I'd not have thought they were 'that bad' ... but speaking of weapons - there's a whole raft of their new military aircraft that have been pulled from service due to problems with foreign bodies in the fuel system! And Lockheed are years overdue on the new F35 ... which also has a defect list that runs into hundreds (according to engineering staff ) but Congress winnowed it down to 100 ... cos they know better than engineers - right!!!

Trump said something interesting - about aircraft having become 'TOO complex' ?
Software companies have had a long history of arrogance and grossly misrepresenting their product . Lax enforcement in U.S. of basic legal guidelines goes back decades.

A Senator today was explicit in blaming the government shutdown as a major cause of the crashes.
This techie fiasco reminds me of the soviet union and and the u.s. as well when their tech nuclear warning systems were seconds away from creating a nuclear holocaust.barf

No one seems to able to nail these big companies like boeing or the software companies, what a joke... boycott their crappy planes.

I don't understand why anyone would want to fly anywhere in a boeing airplane, they are noisy and uncomfortable, I alwats choose to fly on an Airbus, they are a far more comfortable means of travel, especially over a long haul flight. I even fly via S. Korea to avoid flying on a Boeing to the Philippines lol.
Hopefully, they will go bust and Airbus can take over their sales.

Let free markets decide.
Trump's brillant shutdown and bad software seem to blame for tragedy. but no one really knows yet.

The two big accidents with the Max 8 are tragic indeed.and from reports the similarities appear very similar according to reports and the usual media hype. - Therefore IMHO it is premature to mouth off in ignorance on here.
We should wait until it is known what actually happened and where the blame lies rather than the speculation as the conclusions of the Air Accident authorities involved.in both Accidents have yet to be made known.

Who'd get on one of these death tubes now???!!!!!

This could be bigger than the aversion to the DC10 in the late 70s and early 80s.

less danger for people on the ground with these , very small crash zone on account of coming straight down .
