The synagogue is already full of Farts, & the gas is harnessed to make Chemical weapons.

Perhaps you two geriatric lovers could meet and indulge yourselves in the privacy of your mailboxes - leave you BS out of the thread!

Much appreciated - thanks

Who'd get on one of these death tubes now???!!!!!

This could be bigger than the aversion to the DC10 in the late 70s and early 80s.

Maybe Boeing should put that in the advertizing brochure? Car companies boast about how safe their cars are for pedestrians; why not Boeing?

"Our new, patented, state-of-the art system called LKZ (Limited Kill Zone) will substantially improve the safety of pedestrians in the event of any malfunction with your new Boeing 737 Max 8........"

raphael119: he waited far too long it seems, his shutdown appears to have played a major role. Wonder how much defense junk Boeing dumped on us? We may be defending ourselves from Putin with japanese air bags soon.
Surprise! Surprise! Boeing catches hell today, I hear, for dangerously lax inspection of refueling planes! Trump after bromancing Boeing decides to minimize the threat of white nationalism. doh

In the future, Chinese and Russian manufacturers will break the Airbus / Boeing duopoly.

It is a shame so many lost their lives in the two Boeing planes , and Trump grounded all in the U. S., probably a good move . Now someone explain this , over 9 thousand people have been killed with guns this past year , what has Trump or anyone else had to say or do about that? studecar professor

I suppose that it must be a sign of whatever advanced geriatric condition ails you that you only think it's 'probably' a good move to have grounded these aircraft.

Perhaps it never occurred to you that it might have been done sooner - there were already several reports fed back to the FAA and on to Boeing concerning the aircraft becoming violently uncontrollable under similar circumstances. (FYI NASA operate the anonymous professional concerns system on behalf of the industry )

I doubt you paused to consider the likely loss of life is such aircraft were to crash over a sizeable residential area ...

In the past it was the proud boast of the airline industry (and the US FAA) that they operated to a 'zerodefects' standard.

After TWO similar incidents and reports that other similar incidents had occurred in which the pilots 'saved' the plane one must wonder whether certain companies chose to put profit ahead of safety?

You might like to look out Ches (Sully) Sullenberger's opinions on the 737Max.

He's the airline captain who saved the lives of all onboard by emergency landing his plane on the Hudson River ... The FAA and Airline Industry for some time sought to BLAME HIM for the crash rather than recognising his intimate knowledge of the craft he was flying and his supreme skill in handing that craft.

Of course Sully was alive to argue his case - one has to wonder "How many Dead Pilots have unjustly carried the blame ?"

The Pentagon have issued a list of over 100 'Defence Critical Items' for which China is their only supplier

Seems the Pentagon aren't terribly smart people when it comes to supply chains (or forward thinking)

But I suppose Putin is to blame for that as well ?
