Since she was in Japan I assumed she meant in a shopping center forum so I told her to call the police immediately. I did wonder if she was talking about a body part. Her English was only fair.

Its hard to sue someone when you have a made up profile or a virtually anonymous one. Whistler sued an art critic once, he spent a fortune on legal fees and got 1 pound from the jury.
Big corporations and super rich use this system to bully and intimidate I.e, Trump. The money spent can be a super bargain to them.

I hopefully have never actually slandered someone, made damaging personal accusations that are false and can be connected to a real life person. We never give out our real life names and locations or those of anyone else. Avoiding any personal attacks has helped me, ive only been in jail once or twice in 10 or 15 years. I also believe flooding the monitors with complaints annoys them, and can backfire.If you're insulting they can report you?
