He's nothing of the sort.He's a nutter who wrote a rambling "manifesto" in which, among other things, he says that he is angry about Muslims, that he likes Communist China, and then he includes a grab bag of ideas. He is, by his own admission, neither a conservative nor a Christian.
He has spent time in Pakistan recently. Is he perhaps a Jihadist convert on an undercover mission? Who knows.
But what I do know is that you and I and everyone else of a conservative persuasion will be blamed, at least by association, for this nutjob's antics. And that we will be increasingly attacked, smeared, and suppressed.

I DID see that police were interested in a Dunedin property but at that time the news report indicated 'others' involved.
I agree 'hate crime' is more relevant than terrorism - terrorism generally involved groups and a wider spread of threat than just one fanatic - esp when that one is in immediate custody !

Not that it really matters, but to set the record straight, this chap did NOT live in Christchurch. Originally from Australia, he had been living for some time in Dunedin. I am someone who is concerned about the Islamic takeover of the West (just as I am sure you would be concerned if Christians were trying to take over Muslim lands). But I am not anti-Muslim. I respect anyone who believes in God and acknowledges that there is something bigger out there, than they are. And, like you, I abhor the Godlessness and decadence of the modern West.
I also liked the comparison graphic you posted on page 4 or 5 - it makes some valid points and is thought-provoking.
But this post above is really well out of order. I do not know what country you are originally from, but I see you live now in Germany. I am puzzled as to why you think it is appropriate for you to demand the resignation of a politician on the other side of the world? You are entitled to have an opinion about what he said, but his place in the Australian Senate is a matter for the electors of Australia.

Bt you are right - this attack is already being used as an excuse to crack down on any discussion about immigration, to erode further our civil liberties, and to make it that much harder to be a conservative, in a world in which it is already difficult. Much of the crackdown will be aimed directly at New Zealand (e.g. our already strict gun laws will be tightened even further) but much of it will have an impact on the entire world.

I don't believe this to be a government-sponsored false flag attack, but, given that he has spent time in places like Pakistan, it remains (in my view) a distinct possibility that he is a Muslim convert who is trying to discredit "anti-Muslim" sentiment.What is for sure is that governments the world over appreciate this sort of attack, as it enables them to impose laws and restrictions that would otherwise be difficult to impose. 9/11 is the ultimate example fo that.

I didn't hear a clear explanation about the three people also detained by police, but I think I heard mention one or more of those folks was / were armed, and were offering resistance against the mass murderer.
