The people voted to leave the EU. And leave means leave. It does not mean, remain in a union with the EU ad infinitum, bound by all the EU's laws and regulations. Which is what that evil treasonous traitor, Thera May is trying to inflict on the UK.
The real ignorance is that exhibited by people like yourself, Aries, in believing that the political class would actually listen to the people.
I think that, when it gets to the point where the terms on which we would be leaving the EU are known, the Great British public should be given the opportunity to decide whether to accept them or to remain in the EU. What could be more democratic than that?
