Google Perfectionism: a doctrine holding that perfection is attainable, especially the theory that human moral or spiritual perfection should be or has been attained.
The question is: In whose eyes are you a perfectionist? Your own or others? Why are you a perfectionist? To impress who? For what reason?

There is nothing wrong with being a perfectionist. Your standards in whatever area of perfectionism, you are a perfectionist, is just much higher than others, and you are more trustworthy, and dependable!!!

I think we can find perfectionism in just about anything: According to your own standards, if that is the utmost best that you can do in whatever category, it is perfectionism for you. That ultimately is all that is important. Thus: You are a perfectionist!

If you have painted something, and the person looking at it, can find nothing wrong with it, it is perfection for him, and he will call you a perfectionist, but you might think it's not one of your best works of art, but he sees the perfection in it, that you don't.

Nobody can know everything but there is an everything to know. Perfection exists beyond reach, the world could be a better place ten years from now. I mean obviously it won’t, but it could. In that way I believe in perfection and I deplore the premature discovery of quantum physics. Primitive tools leading to a completely stupid understanding of what’s actually there which has had important ramifications for the world culturally.

Perfection is within reach of everyone. Everything is possible!

In psychology, perfectionism is a personality trait characterized by “a person's striving for flawlessness and setting excessively high performance standards, accompanied by overly critical self-evaluations and concerns regarding others' evaluations.”

Imperfectly perfect.
I studied psychology, and it's a load of bull. About perfection, you can see for yourself that I apply it the way I see fit. Not the way that scares off everyone!!!!!

It's the internet, not very scary at all. I'm certain you are not applying perfectionism.
