myssmyss: So it's another sunny day here, even though we still need to have on jackets. Some neighbours have decided to open the "grill season" by being the first to use the grill in the garden of the apartment building. Last year, there was a total ban on grilling everywhere in Sweden, even on private property, because it was very hot and hadn't rained for months. I guess they want to be sure to have done it this year, before there's another ban, as I have read that in some parts of the country, they have already implemented a ban.
I live on the 6th floor, and as my luck would have it, my bedroom is on the side to the grill, so I am getting the smell of it, I have closed the window, but it still smells of burnt coal/meat etc. How do you cope with such smells coming from outside?

It's the government who evoked the ban, not us the tennants. I don't mind them grilling, just don't like the bedroom smelling of it, and it will get worse in a few weeks when a certain group of people come out after sundown to grill and party after 21:00, when all others are in bed. My neighbor just moved, and gave me a nice Weber grill!

My yard is full of vivee (like guava) fruit trees, which add a great taste to meat too!
