You can think back on when you were a newbie here, and tried to navigate your way about this system.

Depending on previous experience on a dating site, with forums, etc, how did you manage your way about here? If it was your first, was it difficult to understand?

Do you use the same type of profile, threads, etc? Do you use the same wording? Do you use the same pics, so that people can track you from site to site? Do you manage to figure out the emoticons quickly?

We are all different and experience everything not the same!!!

I tend to do what I know except I usually put up new pics. These forums are extremely easy to navigate and use. wave

I found with so many active members the forums move quickly.
If they had different categories, it would be easier to follow and not disappear off the front page when you miss a few days.

I guess I am a newbie here. I was previously on another dating site with forums but that one bit the dust. One of my old friends from there, I think he calls himself bandit geezer on here, suggested that I try this one out. So far it seems pretty easy to use. I do have a different photo but folks who are on Facebook will recognize it. I think I am me wherever I go so someone might recognize me. I see that the emoticons are similar to the ones on that other site. I have not used any yet.confused

This is the first dating site I was on before this I was on yahoo chat. I read for a month or so before I actually joined in the forums and I didn't find it too hard to navigate given that I was and still am a computer illiterate.....at I took everything literally and truthfully given my greenness of the net in general and now I know better......laugh

I just noticed that they do have categories here.. It's the button, just left of the international threads button.. I've been lurking this site for several years, and just now noticed it... doh
