well, it was not all political voting, and the boo-ing after greece and cyprus gave each other 12 points said a lot.
I only watched the end of the show, the voting, and afterwards when the Netherlands had to sing again, first time ever I heard the song, and it's not great, but, beacuse I didn't heard the other songs, it might have been the best of the rest...
If the UK would have send Led Zeppelin in the past with songs like Kashmir, Since I've been loving you and such stuff, (only short 3 minute versions) they would have won it far out. The UK have had many talented musicians over the years and almost always they choose to send in someone nobody knows.
Why not send Kate Bush next year? Many people love her and I bet she will receive many votes (mostly from the older people that are watching), maybe even win.
I would vote for her.

By the way, why is Israel invited for many years now? Only because they pay. But also they join the European championsleague. Israel ain't a part of Europe, I fIsrael can join, why not also invite Palestina. Make a political statement that what Israël is doing against the Palestinian people is wrong and that we don't tolerate it no longer.

I have never watched it.
To me its a total turnoff and undemocratic when BBC 1 forces it on ALL viewers for the whole evening,
It should be relegated to BBC 2 or 3 for the Yob culture, Lager swillers & Take away couch potatoes who must view such mind rotting garbage.
