As I've gotten older I don't like crowds. Nor waiting in long lines. Which has hindered me from attending certain events like Spurs basketball games or Cowboy football games. I've never thought much on the origins of my recent dislikes. I just attributed it to getting older. I'd rather watch it on TV, save the $$$ and be comfy.
Recently I purchased a Kawasaki 500 Ninja at a sheriffs sale (vehicles that were seized or impounded and never picked up). I used to ride motorcycles when I was younger and thought a motorcycle would be great to zip around town on those errands where a large SUV would be too much. As I drove it home I was skeered to death! I thought... I'm not 18 anymore... why the heck did I buy this crotch rocket?! So add motorcycles to the above list as well. p.s. First $1200 buys it.
I don't know if that's a form of anxiety or not. I just thought I was refraining from being uncomfortable and having to pay $$$ to feel that way.

The first sign is the excuse making , that's what I figured out , and they always sound reasonable , hence why it goes unnoticed .
Does your anxiety take first place over the Agora ? Or is it the other way round ? Do you have triggers or just a state of high alert ?
I'm not going to over analyze it too much. No more than when I was younger... I wore jeans. Something happened in the past 5 years where now jeans hurt and are uncomfortable and I prefer wearing softer material. Wool/polyester blends or flat out drawstring "lounge" pants. Its just what I prefer these days that's all.
But yeah, you on the other hand are pretty and young and should be making the scene in uncomfortable clothes. Why you are not doing that may be social anxiety but maybe its because you prefer a more intimate atmosphere.

Wait!! Apparently your body goes through a change every 7 years , its like a reset I suppose , sooooo thats means in 2 years , you may be able to wear jeans again!!!
Mine started 4 years ago which means I have 3 years left !!! Seems a long time but I can wait!
No its all people not so much environmental ....... No eye contact , no people seeing ...... I see shoes , a lot of shoes if I have a journey but no interacting or looking .

daniela777: I don't like crowds either...nor loud noises..but it has nothing to do with getting older..as Mustang said!
Anxiety perhaps ? Even if not Agora , the anxiety is a main trigger (not for just agora) . Anxiety then leads to hundreds of other things , it's a vicious cycle!

Some S.S.R.I are like silver bullets for some people. desensitization and self hypnosis can really help. Prognosis is good, with a wide range of severity and time involved. It is closely related P.T.S.D.
