Technology is rapidly becoming our future. People are being replaced by technology and robots at super fast rate. I wonder what life will be like in the next 10, 20, 30 years, etc.

Read the book: Don't bite the sun/drinking sapphire wine by Tanith Lee.

It's fantasy, but it might as well be our future.

I'll look in to it. It's just crazy! Our generation is going to become known as "ancient" in the near future.

Maybe so but a lot of people will be out of jobs and replaced by tech/robots.

Either way, we have no other choice but to go with the flow.

Chew on this:
In less than 10 years, more than 3 billion (with a B) people will lose their job due to technology.
If your work can be done by a machine, you'll be out of job and sleeping under a bridge.
Sweet dreams grin

People like to say machines don't make mistakes. While that can be argued, a machine is only as capable as a human allows it to be.

Bladewound: People like to say machines don't make mistakes. While that can be argued, a machine is only as capable as a human allows it to be.
Sadly that is no longer the case, as AI advances so the machines will advance, until they are capable of reproducing a better more efficient and cognitive machines, these new "breed" of robots will see humans as unnecessary and a threat to the natural balance between the environment and life and worse, to themselves.
That will end with a real apocalypse.

We are already almost at the point where we can "grow" a computer, one that needs no electricity. Which means we "The inventors" have no means to turn these devices off!
It's a terrifying thought in my opinion, especially with the power of military having the main control over these "inventions".
